Little Children
October 17, 2025

I feel something sacred when I'm around young children–humans who haven't yet been poisoned by the world's evils, who haven't had their hearts broken or felt true sorrow and regret. Humans who see goodness in others and live without inhibition.
This is captured perfectly in a child's smile: no awareness of how they're being perceived, just the pure rawness of what they feel in that moment.
When I'm around young children, I feel compelled to be better, to purge myself of all that is bad. I long to have the heart of a child again, to return to a state of innocence where I see beauty in everything around me and goodness in others, despite their flaws.
